Inconvenience
If we are being total honest, I think most of us would agree that we don't like to be inconvenienced. We get way too comfortable in our comfort zones. It takes practice for us to step outside. The first step is to take our eyes off of ourselves and focus on others.
We have no greater example of someone stepping outside their comfort zone and focusing on others than Jesus. He left the comfort of His heavenly home for us.
Galatians 6:2 tells us to help carry one another's burdens. It doesn't say, if it's convenient help to carry one another's burdens.
Many times during His earthly life Jesus was inconvenienced but He always took the time to help. Let's be a little more like Jesus.
We are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10.
Simply Put:
Turn inconvenience into an opportunity to serve.
