Spiritual Gifts 

My daughter gave me some gifts to keep for her.  When the time came for me to give them back, I discovered I had hidden them on myself. (You know what I'm talking about 😕).  Anyway after prayer and searching I did find then.

                                                            

                                                       

This incident brought to my mind how we all need to prayerfully search out the spiritual gifts that God has given to us. 1 Corinthians 12:4 says that there are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them and 1Peter 4:10 tells us that each one, as a good manager of God's different gifts, must use them for the good of others.  God knows through which gifts each one of us will be most productive for His Kingdom and will give accordingly.

  Forgiveness Our biggest deterrent to forgiving someone could be that we think if we forgive them we are saying that what they did was alright. I googled forgiveness and this is what I found:  Forgiveness is a conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person who has harmed you, regardless of whether they actually deserve your forgiveness.  Forgiveness does not mean condoning or excusing offences. This is what the Bible says:  If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you, your Father in heaven will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive the wrongs you have done (Matthew 6:14,15).                                                 Simply Put: Forgiveness frees the forgiver.

  Rejection One of the most painful human experiences is that of rejection. If you are feeling the sting of rejection and are thinking that no one understands, know that Jesus does.  John 1:11 tells us that He came to His own country and His own people did not receive Him.  On the night before His crucifixion, when He was arrested, His friends all ran away and left Him (Matthew 26:56). So let the one who has been there hold and comfort you and He will give you the assurance that when you open your eyes everything will be all right.  You will be assured that on the other side of the door acceptance is waiting.                                                                                  Sim ply Put: There is acceptance after rejection.
