Humility

🎵 Lord it's hard to be humble when you're perfect in every way🎵.  This song sung by Mac Davis is funny but at least he admits he's having a hard time being humble because he thinks he's perfect.

Part of being humble is admitting our shortcomings and mistakes and apologizing when need be. 

 Like the saying goes (If you think you're humble you're not).  So is being humble just doing the best that we can?.... Part of the song.🎵

This is what I found:  Humble people keep quiet about their accomplishments and the good things they do.  They are modest and often embarrassed by praise.  Instead of being proud of themselves, a humble person will be happy for others who deserve the credit.

So being humble IS doing the best that we can, but just not bragging or caring who knows about it.  Lord it is hard to be humble.

  Rejection One of the most painful human experiences is that of rejection. If you are feeling the sting of rejection and are thinking that no one understands, know that Jesus does.  John 1:11 tells us that He came to His own country and His own people did not receive Him.  On the night before His crucifixion, when He was arrested, His friends all ran away and left Him (Matthew 26:56). So let the one who has been there hold and comfort you and He will give you the assurance that when you open your eyes everything will be all right.  You will be assured that on the other side of the door acceptance is waiting.                                                                                  Sim ply Put: There is acceptance after rejection.
