All for God's Glory

We may know the Bible cover to cover and be able to quote scripture at the drop of a hat but if we are only talking the talk and not walking the walk God will never be able to use us to bring others close to Him.  My brothers what good is it for someone to have faith if his actions do not prove it (James 2:14).  We must let our light shine before people so that they will see the good things we do and glorify our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).  The work is His only, the glory is His alone.

What the Bible says about the Occult   Occult is defined as:  supernatural, mystical, or magical beliefs, practices or phenomena.      The Bible makes it quite clear that we are to avoid   anyone or anything that tries to replace God and His plan for our lives.  Acknowledge that I alone am God and that there is no one else like Me (Isaiah 46:9).  For I alone  know the plans I have for you (Jeremiah 29:11).      But people will tell you to ask for messages from fortunetellers and mediums. "With their whisperings and mutterings, they will tell us what to do."  They will say, "After all people should ask for messages from the spirits and consult the dead on behalf of the living."  You are to tell them , Listen to what the Lord  is teaching you!  Don't listen to mediums-what they tell you will do you no good (Isaiah 8:19-20).                         ...
