Fear Not

I've read that there are 365 scriptures (one for each day) that tell us not to be afraid. Now I don't know about you but I have to be honest,  I get scared sometimes.  Fear is a God given emotion to help protect us from dangerous situations.

Having said that...When an angel appeared to Mary ( Luke1:30) and others in the Bible and said "fear not", I believe that they were telling them not to be afraid of God's plan for them.

The enemy is a liar. He can use fear to keep us from stepping out into what God is calling us to do. He can use fear to hold us back from our ambitions and dreams. 

I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for ( Jeremiah 29:11).

  Forgiveness Our biggest deterrent to forgiving someone could be that we think if we forgive them we are saying that what they did was alright. I googled forgiveness and this is what I found:  Forgiveness is a conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person who has harmed you, regardless of whether they actually deserve your forgiveness.  Forgiveness does not mean condoning or excusing offences.   Rejection One of the most painful human experiences is that of rejection. If you are feeling the sting of rejection and are thinking that no one understands, know that Jesus does.  John 1:11 tells us that He came to His own country and His own people did not receive Him.  On the night before His crucifixion, when He was arrested, His friends all ran away and left Him (Matthew 26:56). So let the one who has been there hold and comfort you and He will give you the assurance that when you open your eyes everything will be all right.  You will be assured that on the other side of the door acceptance is waiting.                                                                                  Sim ply Put: There is acceptance after rejection.
