Blame
God asked, "Did you eat the fruit that I told you not to eat?" The man answered, "The woman you put here with me gave me the fruit, and I ate it." The Lord asked the woman, "Why did you do this?" She replied, "The snake tricked me into eating it." (Genesis 3:11-13).
Placing the blame on someone or something else is as old as history itself. We blame life's circumstances for who we are and the way we act. If they hadn't done this or if that hadn't happened, I wouldn't be the way I am. When we can't find anyone else to blame, we even blame God. It is true that life can throw us some curve balls. People can do or say hurtful things, but there comes a time when we need to let go and take responsibility for who we are and what we become.
Simply Put:
There are no winners in the Blame Game.
