Doubt

The circumstances of life can subject us all to times of doubt.  When we suffer any kind of loss, when we feel that our prayers are being ignored, in general when life just isn't turning out as we planned, the walls of doubt can instantly start encasing us.

As human beings, we want answers to our whys and when we don't get the answers we seek, we call into question the very truth of God's love, His promise to never leave nor forsake us, and maybe even His existence.

Deuteronomy 29:29 tells us that there are some things that the Lord our God has kept secret.  He has not, however, kept secret how much He loves and cares for us.  God understands our sufferings and our times of doubt as no human ever could.  If we reach out to Him, He will lift us up and carry us through the storms of life.  Don't be afraid, for I am with you. I will strengthen and help you.  Don't be discouraged, for I am your God.  I will hold you up with My victorious right hand. Isaiah 31:10    

I like the line in a song by Phil Wickham which says: When all I see is the battle, You see my victory.  The song is called Battle Belongs if you would like to check it out.

What the Bible says about the Occult   Occult is defined as:  supernatural, mystical, or magical beliefs, practices or phenomena.      The Bible makes it quite clear that we are to avoid   anyone or anything that tries to replace God and His plan for our lives.  Acknowledge that I alone am God and that there is no one else like Me (Isaiah 46:9).  For I alone  know the plans I have for you (Jeremiah 29:11).      But people will tell you to ask for messages from fortunetellers and mediums. "With their whisperings and mutterings, they will tell us what to do."  They will say, "After all people should ask for messages from the spirits and consult the dead on behalf of the living."  You are to tell them , Listen to what the Lord  is teaching you!  Don't listen to mediums-what they tell you will do you no good (Isaiah 8:19-20).                         ...
