The In Between Well here we are again, the week in between two years. A lot of us take this week to reflect on the old and make plans for the new. We might reflect on our mistakes, and that's ok as long as we have learned from them and not let them hold us back. We must remember that our mistakes don't define who we are. We might reflect on our losses. There have been so many of those for so many people during this time of covid. We have so many questions, so many whys which we may never get the answers to on this side of heaven. I am not one for throwing scripture at people's pain because I believe that when people are experiencing loss it is not the time to be hitting them over the head with the Bible. I can pray for you though. For anyone who is reading this and has experienced any kind of loss this year I pray for strength to endure, peace, a calmness of spirit and a knowing that you are going to be ok. Amen. Jesus - The true gift In the midst of all the commercialism leading up to Christmas, the true meaning of the season can be lost. I have a pin that I wear during the holidays that says Jesus is the reason for the season to remind myself and others that we are celebrating the birth of Christ. Encouragement Encouragement is defined as the action of giving support, confidence, or hope. I think most of us would agree that we need this now more than ever.
